2011 Chrysler 300C
The new 2011 300 is receiving a redesign. The new 300 overall is receiving a more chiseled and modern look. The rearlights receive new LED taillights along with an updated trunk lid and new rear bumper. At its base is the new LY achitecture. Which more of Chrysler and Dodge vehicles have been moving to.
The 300 is improving its fuel economy by improving aerodynamics, axle ratios and drivetrains. This feature the Pentastar V6 engine. This is a 3.6L V6 which will replace both of the V6 engines currently offered and improve both fuel consumption and engine preformance. This V6 engine sports 290 HP and close to 30 MPG. Other engine configurations include the 5.7L and 6.4L HEMI V8s. The tranmission is also a big change from the four and five speed automatic transmission to a new eight speed model. The new 300 will be introduced later this year with a for sale date in the first half of 2011.

In Edmunds performance testing, the V6-powered 300 went from zero to 60 mph in 7.1 seconds. The Chrysler 300C gets a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 good for 363 hp and 394 lb-ft of torque. It, too, has rear-wheel drive and the five-speed auto standard, but it can also be had with an all-wheel-drive system.
