Challenger (Year by Year) Identification

In this section we will go over the year by year differences. There are two main ways of telling the years apart. First is by the grill. And second by the rear tail lights.

Grill

- This is a 1970 Challenger take note of the how the front grill is in one piece.

- Now look at the 1971 grill. It divided into 2.

- This is a 1972 Challenger (below) notice how this one is different.

(The 1972 - 1974 Challengers all had the same style of grill.)

Rear Tail Lights

- The 1970's had the lights that went all the way across.

- Then in the 1972 and Up they were completely different. They were divided individually and were seperated.
